OUR PROCESS
Discover
Every one of our projects begins with a complimentary discovery call to learn a little bit about you and your project. If working with CKH seems like a great fit, you are able to book your in-person design consultation. We will meet at your home to explore the space, listen to your goals for the project, and answer any questions you may have about working with us. After our consult, we will create a detailed project proposal for your space outlining your complete project scope, estimated hours, and design service fees. Once approved, contracts are signed and retainers are paid, we will send you your design homework to get started!

Design
Our Design Phase starts with a kickoff meeting in your space. We will take measurements, before photos, and meet with members of your build team to officially launch the project. After reviewing your design homework, we will begin curating your design presentation. The presentation will give you a visual of how your space will look, feel, and function. It includes a variety of different items such as inspirational photos, ideas for the space, color pallets, design finishes, material samples, drawings, layouts, elevations and 3D renderings.
Once all designs have been approved, we will create a detailed spec book for the construction team. The spec book and site visits from our team help keep the design elements on track throughout construction.

Procure
Once your design presentation is approved, we will begin sourcing each design element such as materials, furnishings, fixtures, special orders, custom pieces, textiles, appliances etc. We will utilize a client portal for easy communication and approval of all items before purchasing. Once items are approved, we get to work on ordering. The procurement phase is very detailed and includes placing orders, tracking lead times, arranging deliveries to our receiving warehouse for inspection and storage, and arranging furniture assembly.

Install
We're finally here - install day! This is when everything we have designed together comes to life. Install starts by delivering and placing all large furniture items. Our team will then assemble, hang, and install all the remaining pieces. We will finish by styling and accessorizing each space before we photograph.
